SHANGHAI, August 31, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Innova Research won a consulting project to provide strategic advice on how to accelerate the development of industry internet in Kunshan, one of the largest electronics manufacturing centers in China.
The project, sponsored by the Kunshan municipal government, aimed to find out the bottlenecks inhibiting the adoption of industry internet with a large number of manufacturing companies in Kunshan and to exam industry internet R&D and innovation resources that are available in Kunshan and other nearby cities such as Shanghai. Based on these studies, suggestions will be given on how to use the innovation resources and what government policies should be introduced to improve the industry internet ecosystem and to accelerate the industry internet adoption among manufacturing companies in Kunshan.
China is the largest manufacturing base in the world and industry internet has been increasingly regarded as a technology to upgrade its huge manufacturing industry. In the short period from late 2017 to mid-2018, the central government released a number of documents to support the innovations on industry APPs and other technologies relevant to industry internet and to encourage the adoption of industry internet among manufacturing companies in China. It was followed by dozens of provincial and municipal governments, who introduced their roadmaps to accelerate the industry internet adoption.
